Susanin's Auctions, now in their 15th year, will conduct Premiere Auction 73 on Saturday, June 13th. The sale will include more than 800 cataloged lots including English, American and Continental Furniture and Decorations, Fine Art, Fine Silver, Asian Art, and Rugs. "Several Chicago and Midwest estates are represented in this enormous auction of fine antiques, it is one of the best sales Chicago has seen in years," says Sean Susanin. Highlights of the American Collection are 18th and 19th century furniture including Chippendale, Federal and Sheraton tables, chests and chairs. The English Collection ranges from Early Georgian tables, desks and chairs to fine Regency Mahogany cellarettes and giltwood mirrors. The European Collections include an Estate from New York and Northern Italy with many early Italian pieces and a Chicago estate that collected mostly 18th century French country. Susanin's is located at 900 S. Clinton St., at West Taylor Street, Chicago, Illinois. The auction house is open throughout the week from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with extended viewing until 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 7.
